Narrative design and a world bible your team can actually query

Game worlds are consumed non-linearly, which means every faction, region and rule has to hold up from any direction a player approaches it. Kalan Vidhi keeps that world as connected records rather than a wiki nobody maintains.

Lore that answers questions

Factions with agendas and resources, regions with their own governance and culture, a pantheon and mythology, and a glossary that fixes the spelling of every invented term. Search finds anything across the whole world in one keystroke — which matters when a designer needs an answer mid-sprint.

  • Factions, regions, items, creatures and lore as linked records
  • A glossary so the same term never appears two ways in shipped text
  • Full world bible export for handing to writers, artists or localisation

Systems with real rules

Magic, tech tiers, classes and progression map onto the power system model: ranks with requirements, capabilities, costs and hard limits, and abilities bound to the rank that unlocks them. Defining it once gives designers and writers the same source of truth.

History with consequences

The timeline records what caused each event and what it changed, so the world's backstory has causality rather than being a list of dates. That is what makes environmental storytelling and incidental dialogue feel like it belongs to one place.

Where this stops, honestly

This is a narrative and worldbuilding layer, not a dialogue-tree or quest-scripting tool. It will not replace Twine, Ink, articy or your engine's quest system. It is where the world, the cast and the rules live so those tools have something consistent to draw on.
